Taking Action on the Opioid Crisis

September 21 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Saint Bernadette Church will hold a panel discussion about the opioid crisis on Thursday, September 21 at 7:00 p.m. in the Saint Bernadette Parish Center near Norton Commons. With deaths from drug overdoses in our Commonwealth rising by 30% over the last five years, this is a topic that all families need to know about.

Topics will include a discussion of how to begin dealing with the issue, both in families and in the community; signs and symptoms of addiction; how to seek treatment; and how to support those who have lost loved ones.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Gary Montgomery and will include experts in the fields of addiction, treatment, recovery, and spirituality.

This event is being hosted with the parish by Catholic Charities of Louisville and the Knights of Columbus and is free and open to the public. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
