Medical Records
Medical interpreters must provide proof of same immunizations required for health care workers
- Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) – Booster every 10 years
- MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) – 2 part vaccine required
- Varicella (chicken pox) – 2 part vaccine required
- Influenza (flu shot) – annual renewal required
- TB Screening (tuberculosis)- annual renewal required
Continuing Education Credits
Medical interpreters are required to earn a minimum of 4 continuing education credits per year

Performed by Catholic Charities includes: criminal history, national sex offender registry, and office of the inspector general

Photo ID & Work Authorization, high school or college diploma, and interpreter orientation/contract agreements
