This webinar is an occasion to look at the Roman Catholic Church as the authentic, albeit with some dents, continuation of the community in Acts. The events of the Exodus, as depicted in the crossing of the Red Sea, the wandering in the desert of Sinai and the reception of the Ten Commandments as reflected in the Ark—are all events, along with Abraham’s call of the selection of Hebrew tribes as God’s chosen people. We continue to be a tribe. Why does that make a difference and why is that difference good?
