Heine Brothers’ field trip

Katie Norton and Layne Sanders (MRS) arranged a wonderful workshop for young people in the Pave the Way mentoring program for teens who have resettled here with their families as refugees. About 15 participants spent an afternoon at Heine Brothers’ Coffee training cafe on Main Street. Anna Cate Brown joins MRS team

Anna Cate Brown has joined MRS as the new Refugee Employment and Cash Assistance Specialist. Anna Cate graduated in May 2021 from Centre College with a major in International Studies and minor in Education. In her free time she likes to read, tend to her houseplants, and play with her cat, Mr. Darcy. She says she is very excited to explore Louisville, so any recommendations are greatly appreciated!
