Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Work-Life Program is available for all employees through our Humana Insurance Plan; however, employees do not need to be enrolled in our Humana plan in order to make use of the EAP. It is designed for anyone that feels they might want to talk to a therapist or counselor.
To get started:
In order to sign in to get access to the www.humana.com/eap page, the username and password are “eap3”. For customer service assistance related to the EAP, contact 866-440-6556 or 1-800-448-4358. The agency’s EAP benefits cover 3 face-to-face sessions, but beyond that is billed to the employee’s medical insurance (EAP provider may not be in-network after EAP benefit ends). In order to access these services, employees must contact one of the 800 numbers listed above. They will complete a short assessment to determine which EAP providers best meet their needs, then they will be emailed a list of EAP providers in their area. The employee is responsible for contacting the providers on the list and once they have set up an appointment they must call the customer service line back and let them know which provider they are scheduled to meet with, for authorization.
