- Assisting Migration and Refugee Services’ clients getting to/from appointments
Youth Mentors: New Horizons Mentoring – Form a Friendship While Helping a Refugee Student with School
- Mentoring youth between the ages of 9-14 years
- Strengthen a student’s study skills during this year long program!
- Be a great role model and friend
- Great for those looking to get involved outside of school/work hours
Long-Term Care Ombudsman:
- Friendly visitors: Individuals looking to spend time with residents living in long-term care
- Certified volunteer Ombudsmen: Individuals looking to advocate for the rights of residents living in long-term care
Administrative:
- Development: Phone calls, filing, entering information into excel spread sheets (can be done remotely)
