Our agency is governed by the Most Reverend Shelton Fabre – Archbishop of Louisville, a Board of Directors, and Executive Leadership.

Archdiocese of Louisville

Archbishop Shelton Fabre came to Louisville from Louisiana, where as a bishop he helped rebuild New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina and was a leader in racial justice for the Church. Catholic Charities of Louisville is the social service ministry of the Archdiocese of Louisville, made up of 24 counties, 110 parishes, 52 schools, and more than 200,000 individuals.

“We are in this together… The Archdiocese is you, and me, and all of us together. My brothers and sisters, we are in this together. [The] future will largely be determined by us standing together and keeping our eyes focused on Him who unites us rather than on the things that divide us.”
