Interpreter Training
Our Language Services program trains multi-linguists to become professional interpreters and translators to bridge language barriers with accuracy and compassion. Candidates must be fluent in English and another language and committed to reliable service.

Anti-Human Trafficking Training
We educate healthcare, education and social service professionals how to respond to situations of human trafficking in their professional setting. Curriculum includes definitions of human trafficking, vulnerable populations, trauma-informed care and prevention education, among others.

Urban Agriculture Business Training
This program teaches farmers in our Common Earth Garden program the basics of growing and selling crops in Kentucky. Includes information on growing seasons in Louisville, which crops do well in our climate, and how to generate income at farmers markets.

English as a Second Language (ESL)
Our Refugee Services team offers English classes to refugees recently resettled to America, an essential skill to have on their path to becoming self-sufficient. Flexible class times. Childcare is provided while parents are in class.

Residents Rights Forum
We teach caregivers, families, and seniors what rights residents have while living in long-term care facilities. Valuable information is shared and discussions held, all in the spirit of ensuring one's quality of life and retaining one's dignity in their later years.

ELEVATE Workforce Development
ELEVATE gives refugees hands-on experience working in a warehouse environment, including how to use equipment and basic safety. This knowledge and experience starts new Americans on the road to self-sufficiency.
