Caring for mothers

Because every mom deserves support, knowledge, and community — from pregnancy to the first years of her child’s life.

Mother-Infant Care

Welcoming new life should be a time of joy, not stress. In partnership with Norton Women and Children’s, our Mother-Infant Care program offers six hands-on classes taught by Norton’s Childbirth Educators. From birth preparation and breastfeeding essentials to infant CPR and newborn care, moms gain the tools and confidence they need to nurture their babies.

At the end of the series, each participant receives a large gift of baby essentials—such as cribs, car seats, or pack ’n plays—along with a layette full of necessities. These resources remind every mother that she is supported and not alone.

‘Mama Matters’ Support Community

Motherhood can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. Mama Matters is a supportive community for moms with children ages five and under. Together, we share encouragement, practical tips, and friendship—whether in-person (1st and 3rd Thursdays) or virtually (2nd and 4th Thursdays).

Each time moms participate, they earn points that can be exchanged for baby and household items, easing the daily burdens of parenting. More than just a group, Mama Matters is a safe space where mothers find strength, hope, and solidarity in the journey of raising little ones.
