Volunteer Opportunities:

Food Pantry Volunteers: Must be able to lift 25-35 lbs, navigate stairs and work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

    • Tuesdays, 8:30am – 12:30pm: Unload van, stock freezers, coolers and shelves, fill prepared bags for the clients, etc.
    • Wednesdays, 8:30am – 12:30pm: Set-up outdoor food pantry, serve clients, prepare produce, fill prepared bags for clients, clean up and close pantry
    • Thursdays, 8:30am – 12:30pm: Set-up outdoor food pantry, serve clients, prepare produce, fill prepared bags for clients, clean up and close pantry

Special skills needed:

    • Spanish-speaking volunteers to interact with clients on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10am – noon
    • Drivers needed Tuesday – Thursday mornings: Must have an SUV/Van/Truck or be willing to attend driver training to use the pantry cargo van.
    • Remote volunteer opportunities available to return inquiries for direct aid (must be comfortable working in Excel.)
