Value Matching

We know your company holds specific values and makes decisions around those. We do the same. Every day, we bring diversity, inclusion, and financial responsibility into practice. We contribute to workforce development, are heavily invested in west Louisville, and are committed to environmental care. We’re big believers in the transformative power of education. We’re committed to fostering food sovereignty in our community. And we’re dedicated to creating innovative ways to serve people in need. Let’s build on our shared values to make real change in our community.

Become a Corporate Sponsor

You can show your community support, stewardship, and philanthropy by sponsoring a Catholic Charities event or outreach. Choose from several opportunities throughout the year, including a back-to-school supplies drive and a traditional Thanksgiving meal for immigrants. And you don’t want to miss our biggest annual fundraiser—Rouler—the best Mardi Gras party in town. Corporate sponsors help make all of these events possible. Please consider empowering Catholic Charities with your sponsorship.

Team Building

Your team will be stronger and closer after volunteering with us. Opportunities can include sorting Christmas items, cleaning urban garden sites, building sheds, packing soup, holding mock job interviews, and reviewing resumes. Pulling together for a donation drive is always helpful, too, and meaningful to your team. We can accommodate groups up to 20 and, of course, welcome individuals, as well. The opportunities may vary, but the team building is certain.

Email cclvolunteer@archlou.org for more information.

Employee Recruitment

If you’re looking for highly motivated employees, please look to us. We work with many area businesses to employ hundreds of people including resettled refugees, culinary arts graduates, and bilingual speakers. Many area employers look to hire our clients who have recently resettled here as refugees because they know them to be highly motivated and responsible. The job market is tough and our folks are trained to work hard for you.

Email Becky Burnside about those resettled as refugees.
Email Chef Makeda Woods about culinary graduates.
Email Alisa Pifine about interpreters and translators.

Support our Social Enterprises

You can help our social enterprises provide opportunity for clients and financial support to programs. A culinary arts job training program, Common Table, offers subscriptions to homemade soup and small-batch breads, as well as catering that is perfect for business meetings. Our Language Services facilitates training individuals as interpreters and then providing access to interpretation in 30-plus languages. Proceeds from these social enterprises return to fund the programs.

Matching Gifts and Grants

If your business matches employee gifts – thank you. We hope you will remind your employees of this, as every single gift to us makes a difference. If your business does not currently match gifts, please consider doing so and choosing Catholic Charities of Louisville as a recipient of that generosity. Grants are another great way to support the community. If your company has a grant program that aligns with our work, please let us know.

Email Ellen Hauber about matching gifts.
Email Ben Wilson about grants.
