A big congratulations to Marcos and his mentor David, who just completed their 6 months in the Pave the Way mentoring program!
“Marcos helped widen my worldview,” David shared. “I feel like I have been a good influence and helped his confidence.”
“After spending all this time with my mentor, I’ve been able to improve my knowledge about American culture,” Marcos said. “I also had experiences that I’ll remember for a long time.”
A big part of the mentoring program is helping youth recognize and name their strengths. When asked about this, Marcos said, “I think I am a good communicator. I know how to address people in a well-mannered way. I’m also curious.”
