Three cheers for Amaya, Ayamey, and their mentor Erin for completing 1 year in the mentoring program this week!

With Erin’s support, Amaya and Ayamey reached their goals of improving their grades in English, math, and history, while also making incredible progress in their self-confidence and English fluency.

“I very much enjoy meeting new people and learning about their cultures,” Erin shared. “My girls were very sweet and welcoming!”

“I like the way my mentor works, helps, and understands us, and the way she is patient,” Ayamey said.

“Erin is a very good person with us,” Amaya echoed. “With Erin, I learned more English, and I’m very confident around Erin.”
