Samira is from Afghanistan and moved to the US from Iraq a year and a half ago. Last December, she graduated with a Master of Science in Business Analytics from the University of Louisville. Besides working with Catholic Charities, Samira is part of the finance team at the Speed Art Museum. She enjoys reading poetry, with Pierre Jeanty being her favorite poet. In Samira’s free time, she practices yoga and loves walking around the walking bridge and the Nulu area. She is looking forward to contributing to the mission of Catholic Charities and working with an amazing finance team here.
