Spring is here! New Horizons mentee Melisa got to explore Louisville Zoo for the first-time last week with her mentor Kate. Melisa and her family have been resettled in the US from Ukraine, and Melisa is working with her mentor to strengthen her English skills and grow her interest in art!Did you know young people with a mentor maintain better school attendance, better chance of going on to higher education, and better attitudes toward school?
