The System of Care approach requires an organized system of coordinated networks and strong partnerships that is built on broad and varied community-based services that are individualized, culturally sensitive and family and youth centered.

Please join us as DCBS Commissioner, Martha Miranda-Straub and Executive Advisor and Child Welfare Lead, Jennifer Warren, review the current literature, research findings and core principles of the System of Care approach.

In addition, the presenters will use KY Child Welfare Transformation as a “project to practice” case study to highlight the overarching framework used to identify barriers, develop engaged stakeholders and design strategic solutions to address the core issues negatively impacting Kentucky’s child welfare outcomes.
