Sister Visitor Center is accepting donations of NEW summer clothing for women, men, and children now until May 14, for distribution to families May 17-21.

We’re so excited to affirm the dignity of our neighbors in need by giving them access to new clothing. Organize a drive with your friends, neighbors, or parish and bring donations to Sister Visitor Center at 2235 W. Market Street.

We need volunteers! If you’d like to help us sort donations and get them ready for families, see opportunities below.

• Pre-Event (May 3-14): Sort and organize donations
  • Daily Shifts: 10:00-12:00 and 1:00–3:00 (2-3 per shift); can be flexible on times
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • No contact with participants
• During Event (May 17-21): Shoppers needed assist clients during slotted times
  • Daily Shifts: 9:30 – 12:30 and 12:30 – 3:30 pm (3 per shift); can be flexible on times
  • 2 direct contact with participants and 1 stocking
  • May 21 ends at 1:00 (see below)
• Post Event (May 21): Clean up, store and label items
• 1:00-4:00 pm (3-5 volunteers)
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• No contact with participants
