Antonia Flores recently moved from Idaho to Louisville to take the position of AmeriCorps Vista Database Coordinator & Community Partner Tracker. Toni, as she prefers to be called, says she was completely unfamiliar with Louisville or even Kentucky for that matter when she was looking at jobs with AmeriCorps, but found the job to be exactly what she wanted. “It’s only a year,” she says, chuckling. “Why not try something new?”

Toni is exploring her new city, has already visited Churchill Downs, and has quickly become an avid Racing Louisville fan. “It’s my hometown team,” she says.
