Common Table works to help reduce poverty in our community through employment. The program provides training in the culinary arts to those who face barriers to employment and empowers them to achieve success in their careers and personal lives. During the 8-week program, students learn the basics of working in the food service industry and obtain their ServSafe Food Handler’s Permit. Skills are refined through experiential learning in the kitchen as students prepare food for catering orders. All revenue generated through catering sales supports the training program.
