Get Involved
Common Earth Gardens relies on community support from people like you! Learn more about how you can join us through volunteering, donating, buying produce, or partnering with us for land access.
Buy Produce and Support a Farmer:
The most direct way to support participants in Common Earth Gardens is to buy their produce! To meet the farmers who are participating in our Incubator Farm Business Training Program and to discover how to buy their products, click here!
There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available through Common Earth Gardens. From visiting a farmer at their farmers market, to weeding the demonstration plot, to building a wash station at the farm, there are opportunities for everyone!
We welcome individual volunteers and volunteer groups. To sign up and learn about specific volunteer opportunities with Common Earth Gardens, click here.

Garden trellises at St. Ignatius Organic Community Garden
The most common request we receive from farmers and gardeners is for more land! Many people who moved to Louisville through the refugee resettlement program were professional farmers in their home countries and had been cultivating acres of farmland for their families and for markets. As farmers move to Louisville, they often find themselves living in apartment complexes or houses with little to no space to grow food.
Are you interested in learning more about how to connect with a farmer or group of gardeners to utilize your land? Contact our director today!
