David relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, from the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 2012. His first job “was not easy” so he asked a friend at church one day how to get a better job. That friend, Iranzi, suggested that David go to school. So David completed high school and then took classes at Phoenix College. Soon, he says, in addition to taking classes he was a volunteer interpreter because so many other students were from Africa
Since then, David has done volunteer work with the Methodist Church, worked in customer service with Allied Universal, and even drove his own box truck.
David is happy to be at Catholic Charities of Louisville and extends his thanks to friends Iranzi and Past Vandu for pushing him to go to school.
Welcome, David!
