Mary Wurtz, with Mission, and Lauren Goldener, with Migration and Refugee Services, visited Holy Cross High School last Friday where they discussed resettlement work with three upper level Theology classes. Invited by teacher Sharron Hilbricht, Mary and Lauren focused on the differences in status between Afghan evacuees and other refugees and what they can do to support Catholic Charities. On Monday, the class wrote letters to their representatives encouraging them to expand benefits to Afghans resettling here so that we can better serve them.

Thanks, Mary and Lauren, for representing us so well!
