The Kentucky Bar Foundation awarded Immigration Legal Services a $10,000 grant to go towards the fee-waiver program. This program helps make legal service available to immigrants at a reduced cost. Most often clients are pursuing citizenship, work authorization, and family reunification.

The Kentucky Bar Foundation was formed in 1958 as the charitable arm of Kentucky’s legal community. Its mission is to further the public’s understanding of the judicial system and the legal profession through programs and philanthropic partnerships that help those in need.
