To All Catholic Charities Staff:
This is as a reminder that all staff are expected to accurately and timely record their time worked within the Paycor system. When this is not done, it creates an unfair burden on those responsible for processing payroll – and your pay might not reflect your hours worked.
Here are the guidelines that ALL should follow:
- Non-exempt (hourly) employees must daily clock in and out, utilizing the Paycor “Punch” feature, at the beginning and end of the workday as well as for lunch breaks.
- Exempt (salaried) employees must indicate a workday within the Paycor system by noting the hours worked on a particular day.
- By the close of business on Friday, all staff should ensure that their time worked for the week is up to date.
- All managers will be reviewing their staff’s timesheets and make any corrections by the close of business each Monday.
NOTE: If you unintentionally miss a punch in/out or make a mistake; it’s OK. Just get with your supervisor and make the needed changes.
We will continue to receive Outlook calendar reminders from Payroll near the close of the pay period to ensure that everything is approved and ready for processing.
ALL STAFF will receive a reminder 2 days before the pay period closes, which will look like this:
For Hourly Staff: Your pay period covers 02/22/23 – 03/08/23.
For Salaried Staff: Your pay period covers 03/01/23 – 03/15/23.
Supervisors, please make sure to review and approve the assigned staff’s timecard before 1:00 pm Thursday (03/09/2023).
Pay Date: 03/15/2023 (Wednesday). At 10 am, on Friday (03/10/2023), payroll will be processed as it is, and missing hours will be corrected on next pay period (March 15th paycheck).
SUPERVISORS will receive a reminder 1 day before the pay period closes, which will look like this:
Dear Supervisors,
This is a reminder that timecards are due tomorrow at 1:00 pm on Thursday (03/09/2023) for pay date 3/15/2023 (Wednesday).
YOU MUST REVIEW AND APPROVE all timecards for assigned staff by the deadline.
For Hourly Staff: Pay period covers 02/22/23 – 03/08/23.
For Salaried Staff: Pay period covers 03/01/23 – 03/15/23.
