Lisa Foster is our new associate long-term care ombudsman. Lisa was born in Louisville and grew up in Lebanon Junction in Bullitt County. She received her Physical Therapy degree in 1987 and worked as a PT for almost 33 years. She met her husband Tom who was in the Army at the time and they moved to Washington State in 1993 where he was stationed at Fort Lewis. Her husband then got on with the Washington State Patrol in 1995 where she worked in PT and they raised three boys while he did his 25 year career with WSP. They moved back to Taylorsville, Kentucky, in February of 2022. Lisa saw the ad for the Ombudsman position in The Record Bulletin and felt it was her calling since she had lots of experience working with the geriatrics in LTC and ALF facilities and that was her passion. She is very excited to be joining the LTCO group and Catholic Charities of Louisville.
Welcome, Lisa. Please drop Lisa a welcoming note at lfoster@archlou.org.
