Catholic Charities’ Refugee Youth Mentoring Program: Meet Cynthia

New mentor Ashley planned a fabulous first meeting with her mentee, Cynthia, at Bowman Field.

Cynthia will be starting college in August to pursue a career in air traffic control, and through a family connection, Ashley was able to arrange a tour the control tower first-hand!

“It was a really great learning opportunity for Cynthia,” Ashley shared. “I feel like she really got a good idea of what the job outlook for that career is like. They even gave her instructions on how to apply and the qualifications she needs!”

It’s always so cool when mentors get to help their mentees explore their interests and career aspirations!
