Congrats, Mauricio and Evan, for completing your 6-month match in Pave the Way!

Evan volunteered as a mentor as part of his internship for the Spanish program at Bellarmine. This pair’s meetings centered around their shared love for the game of chess and learning languages! They played countless games of chess, while practicing basic conversations in English.

“These 6 months were fun,” Mauricio wrote. “I laughed a lot playing chess and speaking English. I’d recommend this program to a friend because it’s a good program. It helped me a lot in learning English.”
