Formation Catholic Social Teaching
Catholic Charities IS the Church in action. All we do is rooted in Catholic social teaching creating therefore our programing is very diverse. We can provide a resource for materials or speakers during or after mass, at stewardship fairs, bible study, men’s groups, etc. Our presentations can be general overviews of our programs or specific to a theme or interest your parish has.
For more information, contact Fr. John Schwartzlose.

Welcome Groups
Walking with Moms in Need and our Refugee Welcome Teams are great ways for small groups to assist in Catholic Charities’ mission to take people from struggle to self-sufficiency. Both these programs work with families and individuals up front as support team to set them up for success. This may include gathering donations and assisting with transportation. Training required.
For Walking with Moms in Need, contact Cydnei Dean.
For Welcome Teams, contact Lauren Goldener.
Support Groups & Referrals
In partnership with the Family and Life Ministry Office and Office of Hispanic Services, we offer support groups like those experiencing infertility, parents of addicts and divorce groups. Also if you know someone in your area that needs resources and you are unsure where to point them, please contact us and we will use our vast network to get them the help they need.
For support groups, contact Denise Puckett.
For Hispanic Services, contact Emily Camacho.
For referrals, contact Deacon Andy Heinsohn.
Service
Looking for a place to put faith into action? We have volunteer opportunities for both individuals and small groups. Often, we need spur-of-the-moment volunteers with trucks and parishes to acquire items to put a client in a home quickly. Please consider being an on-call volunteer when we are in a pinch to support our clients.
Donations
We rely heavily on generous communities to stock our pantries and donation room. Donations are appreciated anytime; however, to ensure we fill never run of needed items throughout the year, please consider signing your parish up for a month or two of the year where we can count on your congregation to stock with the most needed supplies at that time. Also please check back for Christmas and Back to School drives.
To join the Donation Rotation, contact Toni Flores.

If you are not seeing this in your bulletin, please let us know as contacts often change. If ever you need anything translated for those in your congregation, please contact our language services team as they are able to assist with translation and interpretation in over ___ languages. We love to tag our parishes on social media to highlight their faith in action. Please follow us and we would love to follow you.
