Sister Paris Slapikas, SCN, has joined the Sister Visitor Center as its new director. Sr. Paris comes to Catholic Charities from The Center for Women and Families, where she served as supervisor of residential services and crisis response, director of shelter operations, director of crisis response, and director of capacity building over the course of 14 years. She has a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree in executive leadership and organizational change. In addition, she has certificates in accounting. Sister Paris describes herself as an empathetic leaders with a strong work ethic and capacity for building relationships and teams. Sister Paris is a member of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, the order that founded Sister Visitor Center 52 years ago. Welcome, Sister Paris!
