Dear All,
I know that we have been making efforts to keep numbers down in the buildings, and to do activities virtually. Alas, I am sorry to say that as a community, we are not doing so well. COVID is back at levels we have not seen since March. The Governor is asking everyone to take a hard look at our activities. Private and public events should be canceled or postponed; gatherings of any size should not be held at homes; and people should avoid nonessential activities outside the home.
I am not making any mandatory directives at this time – BUT I want all of you to take a step back and ask yourself what you have perhaps gotten back in the habit of doing in person that you can avoid for the next couple of weeks. Are you holding small meetings in person that you can do by phone? Are there activities you can delay?
For myself, I’ve been in the habit of coming to the office most days – but I’ve looked at my calendar to see that I can work from home most of the time. I’ll hold all my 1:1 meetings virtually. Pam will not schedule any new in-person meetings for me in the next 2 weeks. When I am here, I’m setting an alarm to wash my hands every hour. And while I abandoned the Kroger Click List out of frustration several months back, I’ll try it again over the next 2 weeks.
Do you need anything at home for your work purposes? If so, please touch base with Pam or Bart. Be careful, and stay safe. Thanks for all that you do for our clients.
My best,
Lisa
