I will forever be thankful for coffee. Strong, ethically-sourced, caffeinated coffee. So many of my days are possible because of coffee. Thank you to the people around the world who produce, manufacture and deliver the seemingly endless amounts of coffee I enjoy and depend on each day.

Asylee win opens door for family reunification

Akhtar worked for nearly a decade as a police officer in the Afghan National Army. He was evacuated to the United States on September 7, 2021, but his wife and 6 children remain in Afghanistan. ILS (Zoila) filed his asylum application in late March, he traveled to Chicago for interview in mid-May, and on October 21, he was granted asylum. The LaCrosse teams at Sacred Heart Academy and Trinity High School this week donated more than $5,000 to Catholic Relief Services via Catholic Charities. What’s our role?
