Please consider letting us recycle your old, broken or otherwise unwanted laptop computers for our Refugee Services Program! Many refugees arrive in Louisville with very basic or no computer literacy so our ESL computer education class provides computer and program instruction as well as a free, refurbished laptop for each student at the end of each course.

Nadim is 19 years old and was evacuated to the United States (with his younger brother who has a separate case) on September 10, 2021. They both fear persecution by the Taliban because their father worked for the Americans and was in the process of applying for a Special Immigrant Visa; their older brother was in the Afghan National Army; and their uncle, who also helped the Americans, was killed by the Taliban.
