Many refugees who resettle to Louisville have never had yards. They certainly have never maintained them. And yet more and more we place larger refugee families in houses rather than apartments. Houses with yards. Can you help these new neighbors? You can help by donating mowers, volunteering to mow yards, or volunteering to teach families how to maintain their new yards. We are looking for volunteer drivers to help a number of our programs by delivering supplies to clients, transporting clients to appointments (like doctor appointments, for example), or delivering groceries and soup and salad subscriptions.
