We are looking for volunteer drivers to help a number of our programs by delivering supplies to clients, transporting clients to appointments (like doctor appointments, for example), or delivering groceries and soup and salad subscriptions. David Kraus joins Finance team as accountant

My name is David Kraus. I graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy in 2018. I have lived in Louisville all my life and don’t plan on leaving anytime soon.

Holy Spirit students furnish refugee apartment

Last week Alison Voit and Lauren Goldener attended mass at Holy Spirit, where they received a check for more than $2,500 for supplies to furnish a refugee’s apartment. The monies were raised by the school’s middle school students. Here’s a note from their teacher, Liesl Minneci.

Young people with MRS visit local retirees

This week, youth at Migration and Refugee Services visited Access Care, a day center that provides enrichment activities for retired refugees. Students had a great time playing pool and corn hole with patients, as well as learning about career opportunities in nursing and caregiving.
