Mentee makes soccer team, aces Algebra One

A BIG congratulations to Augustine and Meliki who just completed the Pave the Way Mentoring Program after a year-long match!

As is our tradition, agency office hours will be adjusted for a ten-week period this summer. Effective Monday, June 5, and continuing through Friday, August 11, office staff are asked to work from either 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. ILS wins asylum for Afghan security officer

Mohammad worked with the Khost Protection Force as a security officer and as a result is a target of the Taliban. He was evacuated to the United States on September 8, 2021, but his wife and 2 children remain in Afghanistan. ILS (Rebecca) filed his asylum application in early May 2022, and on April 11, he was granted asylum. So far, ILS has won every asylum case it has filed.
