Eh Nay Thaw, refugee resettlement caseworker, represented Catholic Charities of Louisville on WFPL’s live show, In Conversation, last Friday. The show focused on the experiences of refugees who have resettled in Louisville. Eh Nay represented us well, the perspective of both one who has resettled here and one who serves others making the same journey. Thank you, Eh Nay! You made us proud.
Lisa announced at the all-staff meeting last Friday that Catholic Charities has scrapped plans to build at its current location at Fourth and Heywood Streets and instead purchase a commercial building at 535 E. Broadway.
The building, now serving as an operations center for a local bank, will require come modifications but already boasts ample office space, state-of-the-art security systems, reliable high-speed internet, and an outstanding kitchen area for staff.
