~Psalm 34:18

In the wake of the deadly storms that tore across western Kentucky this weekend, we lift our hearts to the Lord in prayer for every person who has been affected, who is grappling with great loss […]

Taylor Guy joins Bakhita

Hello everyone! I’m Taylor Guy and I’m so excited to join the Catholic Charities team! I have my Masters in Social Work from University of Louisville but I’m a UK fan through and through. Serving others through empowerment and kindness is very important to me and something I strive to do everyday.  Some fun facts about me: I have a precious calico kitten named Lindor Truffle (Lindi for short) and she is a bundle of curiosity […]

We need elves (that’s you) this week to help sort donations and stock the shelves. (Does make you an […]

Check out these cards from the kids at St. Rita!

Students with art teacher Angie Breeding made some beautiful cards for residents in long-term care facilities across central Kentucky. Our Long-Term Care Ombudsman team will be delivering more than 10,000 cards to residents over the next two weeks! How wonderful. Thanks to everyone who has contributed, and to LTCO Volunteer Coordinator Moira Brennan for organizing.
