Visitation at all long-term care facilities, like nursing homes, is now open! All residents may receive visitors without any limit on the number of visitors, the length of the visit, or physical distancing. This applies to vaccinated and unvaccinated residents. If you encounter problems when visiting a loved one, please contact our Long-Term Care Ombudsman team at 502-637-9786.

Our little elves are busy transforming the gym at St. Anthony into a store where families for whom we provide Christmas can shop for their gifts. This is the first time we’ve been able to invite parents in to shop for and choose the gifts they want and need for their families.

Students with art teacher Angie Breeding made some beautiful cards for residents in long-term care facilities across central Kentucky. Our Long-Term Care Ombudsman team will be delivering more than 10,000 cards to residents over the next two weeks! How wonderful. Gary and Judy Montgomery, and grandson Caleb Brentzel, dropped off a whopping 2,787 Christmas cards, most of them with personal notes included, to be distributed by LTCO to 10,000 residents in 125-plus long-term care facilities across central Kentucky. Shout out to LTCO volunteer coordinator Moira Brennan for making this happen!
