Lawrence Caudle joins Common Earth Gardens

Common Earth Gardens is excited to have Lawrence Caudle as the new Assistant Director. Lawrence holds his BS in Agricultural Business and MS in Agricultural Education. He comes to us from University of Kentucky Extension Service where he previously worked in 4-H for Jefferson County and as an Agriculture Agent in Powell County. Prior to moving to Kentucky, he lived in Iowa and Arkansas where he worked for the National Soil Conservation Service and the US Department of Agriculture.

Bed-building mission makes the weekend news

Sleep in Heavenly Peace, an affiliate ministry of Catholic Charities, was featured on both WDRB and WLKY news this Saturday. They and volunteers worked to build 20 beds in one day for children in metro Louisville who do not have beds. Ultimately the beds will be delivered to kids in our area, complete with sheets, pillows, and comforters.
