Marissa and Alisa lead community workshops
Marissa Castellanos and Alisa Pifine both provided training workshops at the Neighborhood Place Annual Day Conference on Oct 4. There were about 60 people in Marissa’s workshop, Human Trafficking: An Overview, and about 40 in Alisa’s workshop, “Serving Limited English‐ Speaking Clients – Best Practices and Resources.” Thanks to you both representing us so well!

Common Earth Gardens wins large grant
Common Earth Gardens has received a Refugee Agricultural Partnership Program grant for $298,000 over the next three years. The funds will support the current programming, allow the team to pursue more much-needed land, and will fund new initiatives aimed at giving people in apartments small scale growing alternatives. Congratulations, Common Earth Gardens!
