SVC provides backpacks with supplies

Sister Visitor Center distributed hundreds of backpacks stuffed with school supplies on Tuesday. Each contained grade-specific supplies as published by Jefferson County Public Schools.

Backpacks were also distributed to families served by MRS and Hispanic Services.

We’re grateful to everyone who donated supplies and who volunteered to stuff the backpacks, including these parishes: St. Albert, St. Margaret Mary, St. Raphael, and Pax Christi (St. Therese, Our Mother of Sorrows, and St. Elizabeth), and St. Patrick.

Farmers market at St. Anthony on Thursday
