ILS gets $10k grant

The Kentucky Bar Foundation awarded Immigration Legal Services a $10,000 grant to go towards the fee-waiver program. This program helps make legal service available to immigrants at a reduced cost. Most often clients are pursuing citizenship, work authorization, and family reunification.

Seeing the face of Jesus

Deacon Andy Heinsohn was busy the first day CCL’s new Father Jack Jones food pantry opened to serve clients. He had more volunteers to corral than clients, but Pam Pusty was taking the lead on that. Weekly leadership note

RIP Ron Kelly

Dear All,

I am extremely sorry to report that our colleague and friend Ron Kelly passed away this morning after suddenly collapsing at Sister Visitor Center, although CPR was performed and EMS responded very quickly. It was a great shock to those who were present, and therefore SVC is closed for the day.
