Yay!  It’s almost summer time!  That means Catholic Charities’ office hours will be adjusted starting June 7 and ending after August 13.
You want to adjust your hours by adding 45 minutes Monday through Thursday, so you only have to work from 8 a.m. to noon on Friday! YAY!

Rebecca Banks joins Bakhita Empowerment Initiative

Rebecca Banks has joined the Bakhita Empowerment Initiative as the new Lexington case manager and bilingual case manager. Rebecca completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from Eastern Kentucky University. With Bakhita she will provide direct services to survivors of human trafficking, as well as increase public awareness and help train community members on responding to trafficking. Welcome, Rebecca!

Shamis Mohamed joins MRS as caseworker

Shamis Mohamed is the initial caseworker for CCL’s MRS. Previously she worked as an interpreter with Language Services where she especially appreciated the opportunity to help refugee families. Outside of work, Shamis enjoys being a loving mom to her 5-year-old son and enjoys gardening and binge watching on Netflix
