Rebecca Banks has joined the Bakhita Empowerment Initiative as the new Lexington case manager and bilingual case manager. Rebecca completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from Eastern Kentucky University. With Bakhita she will provide direct services to survivors of human trafficking, as well as increase public awareness and help train community members on responding to trafficking. Welcome, Rebecca!

Shamis Mohamed is the initial caseworker for CCL’s MRS. Previously she worked as an interpreter with Language Services where she especially appreciated the opportunity to help refugee families.
