Queen’s Daughters donate many gifts to FSS

Many thanks to the generous women of Queen’s Daughters who held their annual dinner and drive benefiting Family Support Services’ Mother Infant Care participants. Gifts that will be passed along to expectant moms include diapers, clothing, blankets, books, toys, and more.

Fr. Lawrence named to CCUSA team

Father Lawrence Goodwin, director of Mission for Catholic Charities of Louisville, is one of six people named to CCUSA’s Parish Social Ministry Leadership Team.

According to CCUSA, the Team is comprised of Catholic Charities professionals, parish ministers, and partner organizations (CRS, USCCB, Roundtable) who seek to develop and enhance parish social ministry throughout the US, promote best practices, provide networking opportunities, facilitate information sharing, and foster spiritual growth.
