We will celebrate World Refugee Day (June 20) TOMORROW at the St. Anthony Campus with a party for children in our Summer Program.
Festivities from 10 a.m. to noon will include:
- Making air-dry clay pots with staff from KMAC Museum
- Workshopping puppeteering skills with professionals from Squallis Puppeteers
- Playing soccer with student athletes from St. Xavier High School
- Enjoying performances by River City Drum Corp
- Taking in story time with librarians from the Louisville Free Public Library
- Making chalk drawings on sidewalks under a rain of bubbles
In addition, parents and children each will have a chance to shop for personal care items and toys(!) and will receive a catered lunch.
PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU WORK AT THE ST. ANTHONY CAMPUS, THE EMPLOYEE PARKING LOT WILL BE UNAVAILABLE UNTIL AFTER 1 P.M. Thanks for understanding!
