Did you know that men are 3.88 times more likely than women to complete suicide in the United States? The rate of suicide is highest in middle-aged white men. Researchers posit that many men contemplating suicide do not seek help because it makes them appear weak.

Thanks to 74 donors, Catholic Charities of Louisville raised $40,280 during Give for Good yesterday. Many thanks to those team members who donated and who encouraged others to do so.
Give for Good is Louisville’s single biggest day of fundraising for local nonprofits. The entire day raised nearly $8 million dollars for agencies like ours.
