Advocates help family gather at peak of pandemic

When Pete Glauber’s beloved wife Mary Jane became terminally ill early in the pandemic, our team of advocates worked with her nursing home to get Pete and their adult children in to be with her in the days before her death. “It was so important that we be there,” he said. “I don’t know what we would have done without your help.”

Former refugee from Rwanda serves as EMT

Claude came to America from a refugee camp in Rwanda in September 2019 and in December 2020 was named Metro Louisville EMS Rookie of the Year.
